Remote

Im quite surprised at the very abrupt change my style of illustration has aquired. I attribute it to state of mind.

Im not entirely satisfied with this image, I find that the "button" glossiness is a bit detached from the rest of the rough texture of the illustration, however adding the same texture to it made the entire image look...wrong somehow.

All done in Photoshop. When will I get off my lazy hiney to learn Illustrator?

Comments, critiques and offers of undying love or eternal slavery are always welcome.

I've become such a fan of your work...it's so bold and graphic. Love this illo. I also noticed that your image for "float" could have been used for "remote".

Don't feel bad...I haven't gotten to the point of photoshop and I have a 500.00 Wacom sitting here collecting dust!
LOVE the illo!!!

I'm really impressed by this illo. It has a lot going for it-great colour, flow, the element of media, texture plus the nice treatment of the hand. It has an element of mystery to it. Plus I think it would look awesomeas an editorial piece or as a poster. Excellent work!

Very bold and I think the text works sooooo very well, it would make a great poster.

Those colors are luscious. Great use of color, texture, shading and line to draw the eye into the button. I wish I could do that!

I just love the colors and the texture, so warm and rich and the text works so well. Don't bother with Illustrator, jump straight to Painter. ( just a thought, you seem like you'd have more fun with pixels than with vetors)

This is great - the contrast works well! PS I'm picking my bum, it's dirtier.

The button works for me. I feel it has some impending doom if it was to be pressed. Love the choice of colour and textures.
